Just half an hour by boat is St Anne's reef which is a worthwhile snorkelling experience if you do not want to endure the long journey to the Bar Reef. Scuba diving is out sourced at a dive school nearby. Meet Shanaka your personal dive instructor who will dive with you and take you to his favourite dive spots.

Sea Kayaks, canoes & standup paddle boards are available for use at our beach club free of charge, from November to April when the sea conditions are conducive for these activities. Single man Kayaks for the individual & 2+1 kayaks are great fun for the family. SUP could be more challenging as it is one of the best full body workouts.

From November to April the sea off Akankuda Beach offers superb conditions for both water-skiing and donut rides. The calm seas during this period provide an excellent opportunity even for beginners to try their hand at the sport.

During your massage you will be stretched, pulled and rocked by the hands of your thai massage therapist. They will use every part of their body in order to do this, including their thumbs, elbows, and knees. You may also want to use our Ayurveda steam bath to increase your body temperature leading to the increase of circulation and weight loss.



The Kalpitiya peninsula is largely a fishing and farming community. Explore the surroundings on two wheels at your own pace and glean an insight into the traditional way of life of these communities. Dolphin Beach offers bicycles free of charge for you to roam freely and do your own exploring of the area.



Alankuda is an excellent location to participate in, and enjoy the exciting sport of inshore and offshore fishing. Boats come equipped with rod holders and largely Shimano equipment are on offer. A wide range of Rapala lures etc designed to assist you to catch fish such as Trevally, Barracuda and Spanish Mackerel to name a few.
